Super International Pajama Day is yet another way in which the blogosphere has enriched my life. When you work at home, and when you work as a freelancer, you’re kind of always working. SIPJDay reminds me how awesome it is to take an entire day to be selfish and unproductive and lazy.

The fact that it coincides with the most adorable sporting event of the year is just an added bonus!

I spent most of the day working on the Lorna’s Laces “Safari” socks. I made it from the toe increases almost to the heel turn. Very satisfying progress, if not the most gripping thing to blog about.

Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock in “Safari” on size 0 needles. This one’s going to take a while.

The last time I knit a pair of socks at 8 st/inch, I swore it would be a long time before I did that again. And I was right, because looking through the archives, I finished those in February 2007.
