It’s hard to take pictures of knitting at the height of summer. If you try to take pictures of yarn things in summer sunlight (so hard and direct) all you get is glare.
Oh, the things they don’t tell you about running a knitting blog.
After trying several different locations (both inside and out) I finally got some semi-decent shots of the first finished wacky Cheron sock.
Here’s the left side…
And the right side…
And right down the middle.
All three yarns are Red Heart, but don’t hold that against them. The purple-with-sparkles (toe, heel, and cuff) is Red Heart Stardust in “Purple.” The two halves of the body are Heart & Sole in “Toasted Almond” (right side) and “Faded Jeans” (left side).
Over the weekend I turned the heel on the second sock and started up the cuff. Not long now!
