Looks like MySQL went down about five minutes after I left work on Friday. Not much I can do about it on the weekends at the moment, although I did try thinking “safe_mysqld –user=mysql” real hard, but it obviously didn’t do the trick. (I love that it says “FATAL ERROR” and freaks people out. For one thing, it ain’t fatal – the database couldn’t be accessed. Nothing fatal about that. For another thing, it’s just a website – there’s nothing FATAL about it, for crying out loud.)
No post today, since everyone gets to catch up on the stuff I’d scheduled to post over the weekend.
