The length of this week’s gameplay sessions was determined by the game crashing. Ever since installing Seasons, I can usually only play it for about an hour before it locks up and crashes to the desktop. Sigh. It’s certainly taught me to be diligent about saving.

I don’t know what they’re up to in this shot, but I love it!

Logan taught Miles how to walk in their little tile-floored living room.

Logan and Jayden visited the festival grounds for the spring holiday, and ended up slow dancing all night.

Jayden spent a lot of time studying to improve his Logic skill in order to achieve his Lifetime Wish.

This sign is posted outside the school. Your guess is as good as mine! Maybe it’s to protect the vampire children?

We had a birthday party for little Miles. It was pretty chaotic, with all those guests packed into their little house.

Miles mainly takes after his daddy Logan, although he has his daddy Jayden’s eyes.

I have to do something about those pink-and-purple jammies, though.

Summer rolled around. Logan visited the festival grounds and had a rousing water balloon fight with some random stranger.

Back at home, I carved the single upstairs bedroom into two rooms, so that Miles could have his own bedroom. Although it meant putting Jayden’s weight bench in Miles’ room.

Success! Lifetime Wish achieved! Too bad there was a clipping error so it looks like he earned zero thousand points. Oh well.

Miles had a wish to sell baked goods at a stand in the park. We began by setting up a little oven so that he could bake muffins to sell. He did a pretty good job for a beginning chef.
(And how adorable is that little jacket? You don’t see a lot of kids wearing cravats these days. This is the outfit the game gave him, and there was no way I was going to change it.)

“Muffins are served!”

While his dads worked out upstairs, Miles packed up his things and went to the town square.

Where he proceeded to stand around all day without a single sale. Sad!

Maybe he just needs a better location. Who could resist buying a muffin from a little guy in that outfit?
I’d be elbowing people out of the way…
Jayden is delicious in his tighty-taupes reading logic! Rowr!!!
“Tighty taupies”! Good one!
My game keeps crashing too, either it freezes at the loading screen or it freezes for a few seconds while I play.
I thought it might just be me because I just installed late night, supernatural and seasons all at the same time.
Happy new year!
Ugh, it’s like, “Happy new year! You need more RAM probably!”
In the first shot it looks like Jayden is attacking Miles with the “claw”, an extended tickling interaction that comes with Generations.
And a lot of people are suffering crashing/freezing games with Seasons. I don’t even have Seasons installed, but the latest patch is causing periodic partial freezing. The main actions get frozen for up to a couple of minutes while the background animations (water, music notes, tree movement) keep going. I just recently bought a top-of-the-line gaming computer, so these problems aren’t necessarily an insufficient RAM or graphics card issue.
I haven’t had this much trouble since one of my towns got corrupted. I knew Seasons would be difficult, with its worldwide weather effects, but let’s hope they stabilize it soon!
