I hate laying my knitting out on the ground, it gets all dirty, with the bugs, and bits of grass and all. But it’s the only way I could photograph Rambling Rows all at once. I don’t have enough floor space to do it inside. That is how big this thing is (and how small my house is).
It is four feet across, and will be about five feet long. And mind you, this is only the medium size!

Could you put a sheet down first? I hand piece my quilts at work during lunch and pin the blocks on the wall. It is a pretty old buillding and the blocks are light enough to use a straight pen. And of course, anyone who walks into my office has an opinion of how they should be arranged.
