Without going into all the technical whys and wherefores, I ended up migrating Idris and Titanium to a brand new installation of Lunar Lakes. I moved them into another beautiful science fiction-y Modernist house which I absolutely love.

Resetting the town meant that she now had the opportunity to marry one of the town’s founding pre-made families, which is always fun.
I started by sending Idris out to meet them all. (Although I am also considering adding the Funke family to the town. As we all know, it’s pronounced “fewn-kay.”) We worked geographically out from her home, starting with Chris Landgraab of the prominent Landgraab family.

They didn’t seem to get along very well, so we moved on to Stefan Bayless.

Who I liked until he gave her this weird smarmy smile, and then I was like, “NO.”

Next we stopped by the Alto family, who are fabulously rich. No single eligible bachelors, but Idris did get along well with their teenage son Jareth Alto. Possibly some potential there, once he grows up.

Meanwhile, her house was burgled!

I was so distracted by meeting all the neighbors that I had forgotten to set a burglar alarm on an outside wall. Luckily the police arrived in time after Idris called them. (Which never happens.)
Idris chilled out by reading a book. The paparazzi took note. (How did they get into the house? And what gossip magazine would buy such a boring picture?)

The next day, she and Titanium galloped through town to meet the next eligible bachelor, Lars Royal.

Idris could have driven her car. But I felt that galloping through an alien town on a white steed just had a little bit more panache, you know?
Lars lives in a cool, z-shaped house.

He was excited to see her. She was apparently more interested in his wall mirrors.

They got along somewhat well on a superficial level.

But as soon as Idris leaned in for a kiss: DENIED.

Oh, the trials and travails of Sim romance.

Was anyone else distracted by the hat and kind of surprised it looks as good as it does?
Ha Ha, Ana! Do you mean Idris’s or Lars’? Or am I the only one who was thinking, “hm, twisted rib turn-a-square, I could knit that.”?
What was Idris thinking about when she rode her horse to meet Lars? It looks sort of mirrorish too.
I was wondering if the tank was knitted too and thought “How weird, a tank top and knitted hat. Is it Spring or Fall?”
It is bad enough I am distracted by the clothing in movies, but it makes sense here.
Does the simoleon sign mean he is a play-ah?
Yes, it’s so true! I agree with Dorothy, it looks like Jared Flood’s “Turn A Square,” done in twisted rib.
Robert, it’s a chalk board, which I think means they are thinking about school. She does love the wall-mounted accessories, I guess!
Glad to see I’m not the only one who was plotting the pattern of Lars’s hat…
Poor Idris. How could any man resist the glories of green skin and purple hair?
