The other day when I posted pics of the completed Sparkle Sox, Gayle commented that “I think the photo needs a cat. But that’s just me…” Which was funny, because the reason I took the pictures the way I did was that the neighbor’s cat wouldn’t leave them alone when I propped them up the usual way.
I don’t know why they were so fascinating when they were propped up on the railing, but utterly boring when laid flat on the porch. Not much point trying to second-guess a cat’s interests, is there?

Cats are such a help, aren’t they?
Because the socks are easier to put on if they are propped up. Laying flat would mean that cat would have to ask for assistance.
