A bit out of left field: this is the beginnings of Wingspan, in that Kauni Effektgarn rainbow colorway from a while back.
Weird light when I took this picture last night But these colors are so bright, it’s hard to photograph them in normal lighting without burning out your retinas.

If you still find that yarn too eye-searingly bright, you could tone it down (slightly) like this: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/breivrouwtje/wingspan
The I-cord finish is a terrific idea. I’m doing my first Wingspan in Zauberball in fall oranges and browns. Kind of funny for spring, but I noticed that many of these scarves on Ravelry were done in Zauberball to great effect, and mine is starting out nicely too.
I love it! What are you planning?
I think it’ll be great once it gets rolling. And bright enough that it will be hard to lose…
Mine is in that Fame Trend I got in Florida. The color changes are working perfectly with the triangles.
I can’t wait to see how the colors play out. This should be gorgeous. And just perfect for dark and dreary days. You could just hang it as art on the wall.
Wingspan! And that colorway looks so fun! So far I’ve resisted casting on, but I have serious knitting envy whenever I see one.
Oh my god it’s so bright! That’s gonna be AWESOME!
That is going to be awesome. I am halfway done with one of these in Zauberball pink/purple/black. I have no need of a shawl/scarf, but just couldn’t help myself!
