I took several pictures of the completed pair of socks, but they were all boring. So I opted for the Super Dramatic Ultra Close-Up At Raking Angle technique, beloved of food bloggers.
Pow!
But you know what that picture could really use? Some of that fake HDR action.
Aw yeah! Those socks are totally in your face.
Actually, HDR (especially bad fake HDR like that) makes my eyeballs hurt. Forget I ever downloaded that set of Photoshop actions.
But now that I finished my socks, what to knit next? CRISIS. Tune in tomorrow to learn the answer! CLIFFHANGER.

Great socks!
I am not sure how you did that fake HDR, but it is an interesting effect.
I know that “what next?!” crisis. This weekend with the inlaws visiting, I finished a hat. But then I really wanted to plow through all the stash and find something to start, but that would have required exposing my stash, which I really didn’t want to do…. (although my MIL was happy to take three cowls from my Free-to-a-Good-Home basket, so she might not think stash is a bad thing.)
Thanks! It’s one of Pioneer Woman’s Photoshop actions, “Fresh & Colorful.”
There’s a difference?
And I’m hanging on the edge of my seat! Good thing tax season is over.
I just read this post in the most sarcastic voice my brain could make. Cracked me up!
You should totally knit the tilting Tardis cowl! It’s so very adorkable!

I think the photo needs a cat. But that’s just me…
Oh no! I can’t wait. My heart won’t bear the excitement. What to knit next? Isn’t that WTKN?
Since I am still hip deep in the neverending aghan, I don’t get this kind of excitement in my life normally.
Wheeee!
