The game was so difficult this week! Stuck moodlets, plummeting Needs that could not be kept up, and Sims getting trapped in action loops. Thank goodness for the “resetsim” cheat, that’s all I can say!

I’m trying to boost Eldritch’s singing career. But it’s hard when the game won’t let me send her out via SimPort, for no apparent reason. Instead, she’s stuck spending hours and hours singing for tips.
Here she sang all night and into the dawn, when a deer appeared.
She immediately had a wish to “Watch Deer.”
Eldritch: “Oh, the beauty of nature!”
Deer: “YOU SUCK AND I HATE YOU.”
Deer are such jerks.
While Eldritch was merrily singing away, things were getting dire at home. Solomon’s mood got so bad that he just shorted out right then and there.
When Eldritch got home, I had her try coaxing a better mood out of Joshua. You can deliver a Sing-A-Gram to almost anyone, so I had her deliver him a “Cheer Up” Sing-A-Gram.
Eldritch: “Did it work? Are you cheered up?”
Joshua: [Awkward smile]
The next night, she had a gig scheduled at the park. The venue wasn’t exactly packed.
But the two or three audience members were stoked!
Dude, seriously: chill. She’s not that good.
She played all night…
She played so long that even the stray cat (his name is Henry) fell asleep.
She played until well into the next day.
She played until her last remaining die-hard fan couldn’t stop fantasizing about taking a nap on the park furniture, himself.
Wait, hold up…
Wow, that guy is really ugly. I made a note of his name, for when little Fern is ready for a husband!
At this point I realized that something had gone wrong. I couldn’t cancel her “Play Gig” action. She was stuck, the poor thing. I reset her, and we all went home.
Back at home, things had gone dire again.
Then this happened.
Joshua had donned his official genie outfit; I don’t know why. Solomon peed himself. And then shorted out, I guess from embarrassment. And not only is no one else cleaning it up, they’re all standing around in the puddle!

I’m a bit confused about your present interest in really ugly sims, I don’t see the appeal myself. Maybe the kid is so blue because she knows you’re planning to marry her to a really ugly guy?
I’m trying to imagine what a robot would pee… Hydraulic fluid?
Robots can pee? I’m guessing he shorted out from the liquid….
I had the strangest thing happen this week. My sim was grounded when she then aged up to young adult and she still is sneaking around when shes out of the house. Its most annoying to watch her creeping around town. I tried reset sim and it didnt work. Im hoping that when she ages to Adult she stops doing it.

Swinegrl, how annoying! I’m a little big vague on how the “grounded” thing works, from a programmatic standpoint. Does she have the “grounded” moodlet? If so, I would try deleting it (or waiting for it to expire) and see if that does the trick.
You can delete stuck moodlets by using “testingcheatsenabled true” and then click on the moodlet. I think you have to shift click, or ctrl+click or left click or something… I always end up trying a bunch of different ones before I hit the combo that works.
No she doesnt have the grounded moodlet and no one trys to stop her from leaving the house but she still acts like shes grounded.
Btw it would have been fun if the blue baby had been born with her grandmothers green hair.
My Simbots always wish to get in the hot tub. I usually let them, then laugh to myself when they short out. Funny thing is, when they dry out, they want back INTO the water! Simbot logic. *throws hands in the air*
It must be similar to the way that, no matter how many years a Sim has spent living with a Simbot, every time they see him again it’s, “OMG! A SIMBOT!!!!”
Keep these sims updates coming. i am following them like a soap opera addict. Hope Joshua doesnt get all genie-ified and have to leave.
