I finished the Twine cowl from Sweet Shawlettes, and I’m very pleased with the results.
This is one of those mammoth, oversized cowls that are so fashionable these days. It’s actually three bulky cowls, twisted together. They are looped through each other like rings of a chain, so they don’t fall apart, but they aren’t attached directly to each other.
I really liked how sculptural each cowl was. Funny how pleasing “the basics” can be!
It proved to be far too large for my model, or maybe he was just in a fidgety mood. I did convince him to make a silly, dapper face, though.

looks good to me! purrrrrrrrr
Oh you. How did you know that a dapper kitty-face was just what I needed this morning?
It’s FATE, I tell you!
That boy always looks good, no matter what he’s wearing.
Be that as it may, the cowl looks great. Thanks for the explanation – the construction isn’t at *all* clear from the pictures on Rav. It looks like it’ll be fun to wear, too.
Smiling kitty is smiling.
Can you make a photo with a slightly larger model? I can’t work out how this cowl works at all. The yarn looks gorgeous though!
Lean into the headrub, Cat!
