Sims Sunday: Gnomes Gone Wild

Mendy had a random wish to “visit the graveyard” in her final trimester. Morbid, but okey dokey.

Before she could explore the catacombs, she went into labor.

Welcome baby girl Quinn!

Gnomes get a lot more functionality in the Generations expansion pack. I read a rumor somewhere that vampire gnomes will convert teddy bears into more vampires! Obviously I had to test this.

First, I fetched a vampire gnome out of Khloe’s inventory, and set it on the property. Then I put a teddy bear in the corner behind the television.

Later that night, the vampire gnome materialized beside the teddy bear. And it looked ready to pounce!

A little while later, I checked back and found that it was true!

SO GREAT.

Never let it be said I overlooked an opportunity to go overboard.

IT BEGINS.

Anyway, back to the people! Quinn grew into a toddler without incident.

I bought them the new stroller. Mendy took Quinn for a stroll to the property line.

Then she took her out of the stroller and carried her back into the living room. It was… underwhelming.

Around this time, the television died. We got the worst repair person in the history of the form. I called three times, and each time some variation of THIS happened.

“Someone should do something about that broken television. It sure is annoying.”

Then he charged §50 and left!

I had to send Mendy in to fix it, you useless _____ of ____! We’re lucky she wasn’t electrocuted!

Dude… pants!

PANTS.

Quinn grew into an adorable child.

Yum, cake!

I started her playing with the chemistry set. I still haven’t decided her special skill/career combo.

She did enjoy setting a booby trap on the family computer, though.

This one is called “Scary Computer,” and it flashes a creepy stone face while screaming. I think we’ve all been there.
