Since Death Fish are a key ingredient in the Ambrosia that will keep my legacy winners immortal, I built a little pond and stocked it with them. So much more convenient than running all over town in the middle of the night!

Speaking of death, Bart finally kicked the bucket.

Now Khloe is all alone (except for her family members, who she is stuck with forever). (Whom?)
I bought the Generations expansion pack this week. It gives extra activities to all life stages, but primarily to kids. Which is great, because the younger life stages were getting very BORING.
I started out by letting Olivia egg the neighbors’ house.

Then I kitted out Khloe with a cane.

In addition to looking snazzy, the cane lets Elders “Harass the World.” Basically you click on the ground somewhere and tell them to “Harass the World.” Then they choose the nearest object and glower at it.

“I don’t like you, mailbox!”
It’s a hoot.
Bentley grew into a child, which meant it was time to start his training. I chose the Writing skill for him to max out. (Writing books can bring in a lot of wealth, since you get royalties every Sunday for as long as your Sim lives. Which in Bentley’s case will hopefully be a very long time indeed.)

I also bought him a new item from Generations: bunk beds!

This seemed like a good time for a few makeovers. After studying a few Seinfeld episodes for reference, I outfitted Grayson in an even more George Costanza-ish outfit.

I wasn’t sure what to do with Olivia. So for fun I gave her glasses, and a stupid hat.

Children can throw sleepover parties now! Bentley had a sleepover party which began with all the kids playing in the new treehouse.

(Adults can Woo Hoo in the treehouse, by the way.)
Then they all sacked out on Bentley’s floor.

So cute!
And then it was time for Bentley to grow into a teenager. I picked out some teenager clothes for him: a Threadless-style t-shirt, cargo shorts, and falling-apart sneakers.

I like to imagine he’s thinking “I’ll never be boring and dumb like my dad!”
Oh but you two look so alike! Just you wait, young Bentley!

Teenagers can now learn how to drive. The next day I sent Bentley out for a lesson with his dad (in Khloe’s police cruiser).

While they were gone, Francisca turned into an elder.

I’m afraid her time will come soon. One sad thing about doing this challenge is watching everyone’s spouses slowly die, knowing that they will never be replaced.

OK, I’ll be the grammar police:
“Now Khloe is all alone (except for her family members, who she is stuck with forever). (Whom?)”
Now Khloe is all alone, except for her family members, with whom she is stuck forever.
And don’t forget Winston Churchill’s immortal words on the subject of dangling participles: “That is something up with which I will not put!” LOL
I love your updates. The harrassing the mailbox is hilarious, and I have been pining for bunkbeds ever since the ill-fated Sims Online. I want Generations SO BAD but I have zero time to even go buy it let alone install and use it! X
Love Khloe’s Harrass-the-World outfit! (Does she do it spontaneously, or do you have to give her guidance?)
I totally want the “Harass the World” skill for myself. That’s awesome.
I can’t get over the fact that adult sims can woohoo in the treehouse.
It’s just… it’s just….it’s just wrong! Ewwww!
Aww, it’s not that bad Juliet! We never seen anything.. which is a definite + in my book!! Hey Erika, I just read some posts you put up from the beginning in 2004, and I was wondering: do you still draw?
Well, I’ve been forced by your posts into getting the Late Night expansion pack, but sadly my laptop hates it. Am investigating extra memory to see if I can sort this. I’ve been reading some of your older posts – am I right in thinking you have the Ambitions pack too? Hell, I guess you probably have all of them.
She does. I hate her for it.
I really want Late Night, but I’m saving up all of my money to but a new computer. That is part of the reason I want to learn how to knit. That, and knitting is awesome. But alas, the computer I want (a MacBook) is $1000. I’m not close.
To buy, not to but, a new computer. Sorry, phone mistake
Doodledog is right – I have all the expansion packs except Fast Lane. (Which was a stuff pack, not a proper expansion pack, if you want to get technical.)
I get so much entertainment value out of the expansion packs, I’m willing to cut money in other areas of my budget in order to afford them. In the case of Generations, I started saving up for it about 6 weeks before it was released.
Kudos for the royalties idea for bentleys writing. Olivia may be doomed but at least she is having fun egging and sporting that fab hat.
