Things have been moving along nicely, if a little on the boring side. I added a third floor to their warehouse home.
Personally I wouldn’t want to use a treadmill that close to the edge of the roof, but Cecil seems fine with it!
I also finally figured out the trick to removing that ugly-ass enclosure wall that the game automatically adds to stairs.
The trick is to smash it with the sledgehammer tool!
And Triana hit level 10 of the Private Investigator career. In addition to her Key to the City, she received a new work outfit which is borderline inappropriate.
She also questioned The Ugliest Mummy Ever.
Cecil played guitar at Umlaut’s birthday. What kid doesn’t want his dad to play guitar as entertainment at his birthday?
He looks a little horrified at his own outfit. I was, too! But I let him keep it. The combination of redneck belt buckle and emo haircut makes me LOL.
I gave him the Artistic trait. He was soon following his dad’s lead, and sketching up a storm.
And painting, too.
I haven’t decided if I want to send him off to be an Architect, or a Tattoo Artist. (I’m leaning towards Tattoo Artist.)
I also had a bit of fun decorating their industrial loft home in vintage 1970s textiles!

Make him be a tatto artist. I don’t know why, but he looks like he should be one to me.
Yes – tattoo artist, please. He can meet his future wife and cover her with tattoos…
Actually, I think he might be a good architect. He certainly looks like a number of people I met when I studied architecture. And I swear that painting looks exactly like a diagram one of my fellow architecture students made to explain one of her projects.
However, seeing Umlaut at the drafting table brings back a few painful memories. I really want to teach him proper drafting techniques.
Tattoo Artist! Then his children can be horrified by his lifestyle and become straight-laced architects
I want to see tattoos!!!
I, too, want to see tattoos! If sim tattoos are anything like sim paintings I can’t wait to see them!
