You guys are making me wish I had a webcam! Maybe I’ll run out this weekend and try to find a cheap one, if I have a chance.
Until then, a video clip will have to suffice. The chicks are still a little leery of The Hand, so they huddled against the far wall when I reached in with the camera.
With no further ado, your Friday Cute:

May I suggest putting some cling wrap over it and just leaving it in there for a while so they’ll get used to it?
I have looked at your blog 100 times a day since the chicks arrived. Sorry about the bandwidth.
The peeping is what puts it over the top for me in the cuteness department.
Why don’t they make alarm clocks that sound like peeping baby chicks? That would be a much nicer way to wake up.
Chicks pip non stop if they are cold…If they are overheated they move as far as possible from the light and stretch out like a beach…babe (chick)
If they are just right, they usually scratch and sleep.
Hi! I love your little peeps! My hubby and I are thinking of getting a few little egg-layers. I’m loving checking your blog every day and seeing how adorable they are. I’ve already learned a few tips from you. Thanks!
Melting here. Cheeping chicks are the best. I want to grow wings to comfort them. That might be an overshare. Sorry.
I would be afraid of The Hand if it were larger than I was, too. Try putting food in The Hand — that may convince them that it is something to be charged in anticipation, not something to be feared.
