Sims Sunday: I Wish Life Fruit Was A Real Thing

I sent Pascal to France to buy a nectar maker. Unfortunately I didn’t send him with quite enough money to buy the nectar maker AND, you know, eat. Luckily he had his guitar with him, and was able to play for tips.

Sadly, he wasn’t able to make enough to buy souvenirs to bring home. Where is everyone? Is it just me, or are the new worlds eerily unpopulated?

Another one of Klango’s paintings. I regret having sold this one, but it was worth over §3,000!

This one looks like Sunset Valley to me. Which is funny, because the Alphabettis live in Riverside.

I was holding my breath until the new Life Fruit plant was ready to harvest. Luckily, Klango made it.

His clock says 92, but he’s really something like 110 by now. Speaking of clocks and Sim Days, I learned that if you hover your mouse over the date/time clock on the toolbar, you get a tooltip that shows you how long you’ve been playing this family.

42 weeks, 6 days, in case you were wondering. 300 Sim Days exactly!

Meanwhile, the twins were really boring.

I was glad when it was finally time for them to grow up.

That’s Nick Alphabetti, their grandfather, blowing on the birthday horn.

I had Palatino move out, and gave Pelikan (the heir) a messy ponytail.

Pelikan is Athletic, so I chose the “Martial Arts Master” Lifetime Wish for her. I’m determined to get at least one of my Sims their Lifetime Wish. I’ve never quite made it there, ever! Sad, right?

  • Yay, Klango! I love his paintings.
What was Klango’s Lifetime Wish? Maybe the life fruit will help him hang around long enough?

  • Is that Pelikan’s “Picture of Dorian Grey” behind her in the birthday cake picture? ‘Cause that old lady is wearing the exact same clothes. Creeeeeepy.
