Once or twice a month, I get an egg that’s so tall, I can’t close the egg carton.
Although judging strictly by the weight, this isn’t any bigger than an egg you’d see at the grocery store. At 77 grams, it would technically be a Jumbo egg.
Ever since my TV died, I have been watching shows on Hulu. I used to be kind of “meh” on Hulu, until I discovered the Subscribe feature. Just subscribe to your shows, and new episodes will be added to your queue when they become available.
I’m actually watching more television now than when I had a TV. Because who can be bothered to remember all of those television schedules? But when they magically appear in my queue, I’m happy to watch them.
Down side to watching TV on a repurposed laptop: likelihood that the show will be obscured by large petulant cats.

Look at those cute little cats!
Are you watching Modern Family on Hulu? It is too funny!
Oh, and do you watch Stargate? Did you see the new show? What did you think?
I’ve mostly trained my cat to stay away from the computer. (I’m paranoid about cat hair gumming up the works.) But whenever I open a book, a cat butt finds its way right smack dab in the middle.
Perhaps you should look for shows they can watch with you.
Those eggs are looking at you. This is their expression:
O_o
On my moniter it looks like the cat is folded in half. On a better note you are brilliant, I will subscribe now.
I agree with Debi– what kind of origami cat is that???
They do look folded in half!
We (finally) got highspeed internet last week and now I can watch Hulu without having to pause every couple minutes to let the buffer refill. Hulu has way less commercial time, too.
I just started watching TV on the computer fairly recently. Since we haven’t had TV in years and years, I like to go back to the beginning of a series to watch it all the way through. (Lost and Heroes would both be unintelligible without doing that, for example.) The one time I visited Hulu, it looked like they only had the most recent episodes of any particular show, so I’ve never gone back.
Though now that I’ve caught up on a few series, Hulu might actually be useful! I’ll have to go check it out again…
I’ve been obsessed by egg abnormalities since you last posted about your shelless eggs and the “egg within an egg”.
I wonder if it hurts for a chicken to get one that big out? O_o
