Sorry about the delay – the power went out here yesterday afternoon, and didn’t return until the middle of the night. (But I kind of feel like the whole world’s gone on vacation, and there’s no one left to read blogs until Tuesday, so what does it matter?)
Anyway! Last Sunday, Jerboa had just been knocked up. I decided that, cool as it was, the Granary was no place to raise several children. They moved into a house model called the Toy Dachshund at 1010 Cypress Ln.
Jerboa gave birth to a baby boy I named Klango (after the Diesel Sweeties robot but now I see that it’s spelled “Clango.” Oh well). Klango was followed by a baby girl I named Kana after their great-great-great-great-great-grandmother.
Their childhood was so boring, let’s skip it. Here’s Kana at her birthday to Child (it was at the park, and once again, took place later than I’d have liked). (Excitable, Loves the Outdoors, Angler.)
Things started getting interesting at Klango’s birthday party. First of all, the guests got stuck outside.
He had to blow out his candles while everyone watched through the window.
I think he’s quite the teen heartthrob. Doesn’t he look boy band-ready with that hair? (Genius, Artistic, Hot Headed, Hopeless Romantic.)
I always invite all living family members over for birthdays, just to see how they’re doing. (By the way, Helvetica died at some point, and the game didn’t tell me. I’m a little annoyed by that.)
Isabeau has turned into an Elder. Iain is married to a girl named Cerise, and has joined the military career track.
Speaking of careers, Kory works at the mausoleum, but he plays the guitar incessantly.
At Klango’s birthday party, Jerboa struck up a conversation with another guest. Wesley White works with Kory, and is married to a girl named Willow.
Gameplay had been boring this week. So I decided to start an affair just to liven things up a little. (Doesn’t that make me sound like a terrible human being?)
Kory had the next two days off work. Jerboa and Wesley had to meet at the park.
Kory went back to work on Thursday, so I had Jerboa invite Wesley over. I sent the kids out to the stadium to watch a sports game, to give Jerboa and Wesley a little privacy.
Kory returns from work at 9PM, so I had to keep an eye on the clock.
Wesley hopped out of bed and Jerboa asked him to leave just in time to miss Kory. Oh, and she’s pregnant now!

Quite the little Peyton Place you have there!
Scandalous!!!
That Diesel Sweeties New Readers thing made me laugh. Hysterically. I ought to thank you for it.
Also, can you name the baby Kinkajou? It’s a South American raccoon thing that climbs trees and looks like a monkey: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinkajou
I totally read this. An affair! How soap-operaish of you!
I’d be tempted to let Kory catch them, just to see what happens.
Little Sims divorce lawyers come running in? Kory chases Wesley with a blunt weapon?
Or would Kory just write a country song about his cheatin’ woman, while playing the guitar?
hahaha Sims can provoke things we’d never condone in real life! I also second “Kinkajou” Another thing I’ve always wanted for a pet, that list, you’d find, is rather long.
[...] was a record-breaker, by the way! One guest died, and Jerboa’s third baby (named Kinkajou, at Catu’s request) was born. But the guests only rated it a “modest success.” WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO PLEASE [...]
