It didn’t take very long to knit this much, but it still stings to have to rip it back. My knitting time is precious these days, and I hate to have to put it in reverse.
This is my first draft, so to speak, of the Skyrim Dishcloth. Seen here lying on a barrel in the game, because who knows why.
My first attempt had two problems: it was too long on each side, and I decreased backwards in the center.
That ridge you see running down the middle of the mitered corner is an exact match for the ones on my Rambling Rows afghan. But I didn’t bother to check that pattern before I started, so obviously I got the matching decreases reversed. Sigh!
