I got all chuffed seeing my name in a post. :) I think your commute is quite reasonable. It's a way to make a boundary for yourself. I find I can't knit so well on my bus commute. Brilliant idea to have a commute time even if you work from home. I usually have a sock project that only gets knit on the streetcar. An inch per day (if I get a seat) they eventually get finished.
