Hez is in full agreement w/Sockington.

The 'getting too big for the project bag' is a great indication of much progress! Looks as cheery as the original. (Which it *would* but whatever.)

Ha! about the ton system. And Mr. Sockington. I like to keep the house nice and cool (definitely not cold), but my cat keeps nudging up the thermostat when I'm not looking. Cat or the husband, hard to tell.

Sockington is related to my cat, I'm convinced of it.

The other random twitter feed I follow is Shitmydadsays. I can hardly wait to be a geezer. :)

BTW - I uploaded my Venture Household. My sims handle is Shi Whendi.

The scarf's looking good! I got all chuffed seeing my name in a post. :)

I think your commute is quite reasonable. It's a way to make a boundary for yourself. I find I can't knit so well on my bus commute. I get motion-sick unless it's very simple, and I can do it without looking.

I totally get the 'commute' knitting thing! Brilliant idea to have a commute time even if you work from home. I usually have a sock project that only gets knit on the streetcar. An inch per day (if I get a seat) they eventually get finished.

Glad you've got a shitload of wood. Stay warm!

I love how passive aggressive cats are. They just assume that everything is the HUMAN's fault. Obviously we humans are barely sentient creatures, and cats only (resentingly, begrudgingly) relinquish their superiority to us because we have opposable thumbs and they don't.

Have you ever heard the song "Meow" by Cheryl Wheeler? Great song. It's the life philosphy of a cat in a nutshell.

Oh, and if the "ton" system is decimal, is it part of the metric system? And if so, what do us backwards non-conformist Americans use?
